LANGUAGE INMERSION IN IRELAND 2026☘️
23 of our 3º ESO students had a language inmersion experience for a week in the Irish town of Wicklow. With the great support of Virginia from TRUSTED INMERSIONS and three I.E.S. Mayorazgo courageous teachers, our students could get a real taste of Ireland, if only for a few days. They lived with Wicklow’s local families sharing their home and most of their daily routines. Besides the communicative activities they enjoyed at a language school in the mornings, their stay in Ireland also included a Treasure Hunt around Wicklow Town, a half-day excursion to Glendalough, a full-day excursion to Dublin, design of Celtic T-Shirts, Golly Fishing at the footbridge in Wicklow Town… But above all that, we must highlight the time spent in a different culture where English had to be used for real communication purposes.
